I’m a total neat freak. I don’t have random receipts and wrappers crumpled at the bottom of my handbag. I have no old bits of chewing gum or loose change. I literally dumped out all the contents of my bag on my bed and these are the only things that fell out.
This is the bag I use regularly. I like it because it has top handles as well a shoulder strap, so I can wear it in the crook of my arm or on my shoulder.
1. Pencil Case
I don’t like keeping pens and pencils directly in my handbag because I’m scared they might explode or mark up the inside.
I bought my wallet from Kate Spade about a year and a half ago. They no longer sell the exact one I have, but the Jewel Street Lacy is almost identical. I love this wallet. It has a lot of card compartments, which is the main thing I look for when buying a wallet.
3. Makeup Bag
This is an old Clinique makeup bag that I got from somewhere. I’ve done a ‘What’s In My Makeup Bag’ post which you can read here.
4. Student ID
I keep my Student ID in my bag because there are stores like TopShop and Roots that give student discounts.
5. Tylenol 3
I don’t normally keep any medication in my bag, but my boyfriend had a headache last week and this was the only medicine there was. I kept it in my bag for him just in case he needed it. I’m going to throw it out now.
6. Orange-shaped Coin Purse
I don’t know where this is from, but I use it to keep my headphones in. I like keeping my headphones in here so they don’t get tangled.
7. iPhone 5s
Not pictured because I used it to take these photos.
What do you keep in your handbag?

Price: $2.99 CAD at Target
During my recent trip to Target, I stopped by the beauty section (of course) and looked for the cheapest makeup products I could find. These are what I ended up with. They were the last two colours available. For $2.99 you can’t go wrong, so I bought both without knowing if they were any good.
Both blushes have a bit of shimmer, but it doesn’t actually transfer when applied to the cheeks. When I was looking at the NYC blushes in the store, the shade ‘NoLiTa Pink’ reminded me of NARS ‘Orgasm’ by just looking at it in the packaging.
The colour payoff is nice enough. They are pigmented enough that it shows up on the cheeks, but light enough that it looks soft and natural, and not too over-powering.
I’m definitely going to keep an eye out for these NYC Cheek Glows in more shades the next time I’m at the store.
The Verdict: Buy It
